Revenue Operations Consulting
RevOps fails when it becomes a reporting function. It works when it owns the definitions, the routing and the instrumentation that marketing, sales and success all depend on, and when it can build, not just recommend.

Three Teams, Three Numbers, One Very Long Monday Meeting.
Marketing counts an MQL at form fill, sales counts it at accepted, and success counts revenue on a different recognition basis than finance. None of them are wrong given their definitions, which is precisely the problem: without one arbitrated model of the funnel, every cross-functional conversation starts by reconciling numbers instead of deciding anything. That reconciliation tax compounds until nobody trusts any dashboard.
Stage definitions are folklore. Ask five reps what qualifies a deal for stage three and you will get five answers, all of them defensible.
Routing is a queue somebody watches. Leads sit for hours or days because assignment depends on a person noticing, not a rule executing.
Forecasting runs on rep sentiment. Commit and best-case are gut calls dressed as data, and the historical accuracy of those calls has never been scored.
From Contested Numbers to One Model Everyone Signs
Arbitrate the Definitions
We run a working session with marketing, sales and finance and force a single written definition for each funnel stage, each qualification bar and each revenue moment. It is a political exercise as much as a technical one, and it is the step most consultancies skip because it is uncomfortable.
Encode Them Into the Systems
Definitions that live in a document drift within a quarter. We encode them as validation rules, required fields, stage-entry criteria and automated hygiene checks, so the CRM makes the agreed process the path of least resistance rather than a policy people are asked to remember.
Automate Routing and SLAs
Territory, round-robin, capacity and account ownership resolve as rules with an audit trail. Every handoff gets a response SLA that is measured and escalated automatically, so speed-to-lead becomes a number you manage rather than a complaint you hear.
Build Forecasting on Evidence
We score historical rep-called forecasts against outcomes, then build a model weighted by the stage-transition and engagement signals that actually predicted closes in your data. Reps keep their call; leadership gets a second number with a known error bar.
Deliverables
- A signed funnel and lifecycle model with written definitions for every stage
- CRM configuration enforcing those definitions through validation and entry criteria
- Rules-based routing with measured, escalated response SLAs
- An evidence-weighted forecast model scored against your own historical accuracy
- A single executive dashboard that marketing, sales and finance all agree to use
Is This You?
Strong fit
- You have at least two revenue-facing teams whose numbers do not reconcile.
- You are preparing for a raise, a board seat or an audit and need defensible funnel reporting.
- You have a CRM with more than a year of history to learn from.
Not a fit yet
- You want a diagnostic deck. We will do the diagnosis, but the engagement only pays off if you let us implement it.
- Leadership is not willing to arbitrate definitions. Without that decision, nothing downstream holds.
Bring the Number Nobody Agrees On
Pick the metric that starts the most arguments at your company. We will spend the call tracing where the three versions of it diverge, and what it would take to reconcile them permanently.

Common Questions
How is this different from hiring a RevOps manager?
It is complementary rather than competing. A RevOps hire gives you continuous ownership, which you need. What they usually cannot do in their first year is a heavy build while also running the weekly cadence. We do the build; ideally your hire owns it afterwards, and we design the handover with that person in the room.
Do you work in HubSpot or Salesforce?
Both, plus Pipedrive and Zoho for teams at the smaller end. The definitions and routing logic are portable; only the implementation differs. If you are considering a migration, we would rather fix the model on your current system first so you do not carry the same problems across.
How long until the forecast model is trustworthy?
You need enough closed history for the signals to be significant, which in practice means several hundred closed opportunities. If you have that, expect a first scored model in four to six weeks and meaningful calibration after two full quarters of running it alongside the rep-called forecast.
Will this create more admin work for reps?
Done properly it removes work, because fields get populated by automation rather than by hand and routing stops requiring anyone to watch a queue. Where we do add a required field, it is because the forecast or the routing genuinely cannot function without it, and we will say so explicitly.
